Ysdor was recruited into the Blood War by demons. To this day he fights in this conflict, but then he does not really have a choice. It is eighter that or a cruel death at the hands of his masters. He is not content with his current situation, but being killed by a harpy some time ago, he finds that the constant warfare and combat of the Blood War is preferable to whatever awaits him in the afterlife.
Currently, Ysdor is pondering whether or not to summon a familiar and if he does, what it should be. A fiendish monkey has its appeal but so does a celestial owl. However, since the demons keep the Blood War conscripts quartered in the Abyss, Ysdor is afraid that he will wind up with a demonic spy stuck to him anyway regardless of his wishes.
Ysdor's best, and only friend, is a warlock named Adam, who also happens to be the co-leader of his squad of Blood War conscripts.
