From d20 NPC Wiki

You seem to know more about D20 fan policy than anyone else around here. Is it possible to do Iron Heroes NPCs here? PsiSeveredHead 16:39, 18 Sep 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

We are doing something similar... a D&D wiki over at enterwiki network. Care to combine projects, or at least your D&D 3.5e section? -- 66.58.239.13502:29, 21 January 2006 (UTC) (SilverSide elsewhere)

I won't be watching this page, so e-mail me at silver-side |at| hotmail }dot{ com - thanks!

[edit] Merger Opinion

I'm personally of the opinion that this particular wiki (the d20 NPC wiki) is already significantly more useful than the D&D wiki mentioned above, and by sticking to NPCs, we are in the beneficial situation of working within the WotC fanpage policies - the D&D wiki is slowly adding all the content from the core books according to the front page of the site.

[edit] Upgrade to MediaWiki 1.6?

Any plans to upgrade this Wiki to the 1.6 version of MediaWiki? It's not classified as 'stable' yet, but Wikipedia uses that version now, so it can't be that bad. I ask since one of the new features in 1.6 is the ability to declare defaults for parameters in templates, and with that feature, I could make some truly snazzy templates for this site. That feature would be important, since a lot of NPCs don't use all the areas of a stat block; a default value for the parameter, would give me the ability to check to see if "Aura" is not defined, and therefore not draw that line of the stat block if it isn't. Otherwise it would be a very static stat block with big gaps of unused lines for a lot of NPCs.

Ah, I read up more on what Wikicities is, so I understand that you won't be able to do anything about the version info, and I should be barking up Wikicities' tree if I want a new version released...

[edit] Banning to prevent vandalism

IP address 209.123.8.145 has been attacking our main page and other articles recently. It is possible to ban him, but this can only be done from an administrator's account. The info is here: Talk:Main_Page#Banning.3F PsiSeveredHead 17:43, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
