The representative of Malastare is a ruthless capitalist exploiting the native Dugs who live in conditions of near-slavery. He routinely speaks out in favor of the Jedi on many issues, thinking they can be bought with a little political grandstanding. It's a point of pride to him never to have learned the Dug language.
