Origin: Donny is the son of an French Foreign Legion soldier who deserted the Legion during the 50s in favor of the Golden Triangle. His father became a bodyguard for a local drug lord and eventually took up with a local woman. They had Donny soon after. The drug lord had to constantly be on the move, so Donny's father dragged his family all over the Golden Triangle. It was during one of these excursions that Donny was separated from his family during a storm. Lightning from the storm opened a dimensional portal that Donny stepped through. He ended up in a pocket world that was a prison for an insane martial arts master by the name of Kunlang. Kunlang made Donny his servant, but, at the same time, took him on as his apprentice. Donny learned much from Kunlang, including much of Xionju, the lost art that he was a master of. Kunlang had begun to teach his art to whoever would pay him, which had angered other masters. They gathered together and had him banished to this pocket dimension. Donny learned from Kunlang for many years. One day, having had enough of the abuse, Donny, through some trickery and luck, was able to kill Kunlang. With Kunlang dead his dimensional prison collapsed, freeing Donny back into his normal world. A world, though, which had changed drastically in 50 years. Some of Kunlang's mercenary attitude had rubbed off on Donny, so he decided to start a business that would supply soldiers and specialists to people who would pay well. His business is called Mercenary Inc., but is better known as Villains For Hire. During the start up of the business, Iron Man was one of the first employees. The two of them became fast friends and Iron Man is now his partner.
