Rightly feared during wartime, for in battle this mercenary is a terror, the Rook often disappears between conflicts only to resurface much later. His lack of appearant aging leads many, common soldier and commander alike, to claim that he is demonic in nature. In truth, the man behind the black armor and raven helm is the servant of another, greater power. In ages past Ondo Argus lost a bet with a mighty wyrm and now, honoring his debt, he waits in stasis between battles. His tasks are never pleasant and often involve fighting against the side he aided only a handful of months or years before.
