The small green creature before you instantly strikes you as different from the rest of the goblinoid rabble you've yet to encounter. He wields a solid looking morningstar in one hand with a wooden shield strapped to the other and though his clothes look ragged a keen eye will spot the sturdy leather armor just beneath. He shoves one of his lesser kin out of the way as he storms about, yelling and making himself feel big by bullying those around him.

Author's note: This is a Goblin Warrior 1 with the elite array. I use them as bodyguards for low-level BBEGs. Using the improved array is supposed to improve CR by 1, but that seems out of order for a base CR of 1/3, so instead I've listed them as CR 1/2.
