In my campaign Elehna is the leader of a "hit" squad. They specialized in ranged ambushes. The squad usually consisted of her and 5 elf 1st level rogues armed with longbows. She always kept a 1st level spell available to cast Obscuring Mist and then used the Dimension Door scroll to escape.
