As an immensly powerful being, rivaling a number of the smaller gods themselves, you've mostly spent your time behind the scenes, staying out of sight for the most part and influencing events in subtle ways, so as to avoid conflict with even greater powers. By keeping quiet, you avoid other, more sinister forces from being "loud" in response.

But these days, things are looking more grim. No one has heard from the head of the pantheon in years, and his clerics have lost their abilities to cast spells. Other greater gods are going missing, and their clerics are rendered powerless as well. Psuedo-natural creatures have been leaking into your world, arriving without warning despite all divinations, all wards, all efforts. Undead legions roam the landscape, living storms have started walking the landscape.

The shattered "Mirror of Dreams", a powerful artifact used by sages for centuries to predict the future, depicts worse horros to come. Hundreds of prophets are proclaiming the end of the world.

The time may have come to make an impact on the world in a bigger way.
