An alien feline is a lioness-sized creature found on other worlds which can sustain human life. It does not fear humans, regarding them as an unusual food source. Female felines live in small groups, while males live alone, and meet only briefly. Females use cooperative hunting tactics, while males simply use ambush tactics. In either event, an encounter between a human and a hungry feline usually ends in tragedy. If the feline successfully stalks the human, they will jump on them, toppling them to the ground in preparation for killing and feeding.

An alien feline uses ambush tactics, whether alone or as part of a group. It attempts to use its size and weight to knock over an opponent, then bites and grapples them.
Trip and Pin (Ex): An alien feline that hits with a claw attack made while charging can attempt to trip its opponent (+8 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the alien feline. The alien feline can then make an immediate grapple check (as improved grab, with its bite attack), without drawing an attack of opportunity, to grapple the prey.
Skills: An alien feline has a +4 racial bonus to Hide checks when stalking prey through tall grass.
