Important people need bodyguards. Lots of them. These bodyguards need a leader. In addition to overseeing the more physical bodyguards, bodyguard leaders may oversee infiltrators, spies, and technical geniuses.
Branden McKendrick is one such leader. He can be used as the chief of a security for a villain, or even for a benevolent organization if the PCs have become a little evil.
McKendrick believes in being prepared. To this end he will have stealthy bodyguards in the crowd, watching out for potential hostiles. If possible, these hostiles will be removed quickly and efficiently. In addition, he has technical experts scanning the radio waves, listening for anything suspicious. Organized attackers frequently use professional walkie talkies and other communication gear which they believe to be secure, but his experts know how to crack these codes. He may employ snipers on nearby rooftops, both to attack hostiles and to watch for hostile snipers. Finally, his client will be followed at all times by bulletcatchers, many of whom will be in disguise.
If given at least a minute to prepare, McKendrick will use his Plan talent to grant bonuses to himself and any nearby bodyguards. In any hostile event, McKendrick will rush his client, throw them to the ground, and cover their body, using the harm's way talent. His sudden action ability gives him an edge in a surprise assault.
